As part of an extensive re-fit, the professionally qualified Skipper and Crew of Arnold Clark Drum have been busy upgrading and preserving her over the last few years. This will ensure she not only continues to look her best but she will also give her guests more comfort and a degree of luxury allowing them to enjoy this famous yacht in all her glory.

The interior has undergone a facelift as follows:

• 12-seater dining table & upholstered benches for days when al fresco dining is not feasible

• white headlining has been installed along with a modern lighting system

• 32" flat screen TV for projecting computer images for business meetings or viewing footage of ACD

• sound system for those wishing to sail along with their favourite music

• remodelled galley area

• modern electric toilets

• more comfortable seating and sleeping arrangements

• improved boarding facilities with the addition of a new boarding ladder and steps

• new fully waterproof sailing suits

On the exterior:

• hull, deck and boom have all been re-painted

• non-essential fittings removed for greater ease of movement on deck

• deck hatches renewed

On the technical side, items marked "*" have been replaced whilst the remainder have been overhauled:

• engine and gearbox*

• propeller and shaft*

• running rigging*

• anchor system*

• safety equipment*

• all sails*

• dinghy and engine*

• electrics*

• plumbing*

• deck gear

• hydraulics
