Drum is a 78 foot, Maxi racing yacht, formerly owned by Simon le Bon of Duran Duran and designed by Ron Holland to compete in the Whitbread Round the World Yacht Race. It is now owned by leading Scottish Businessman, Sir Arnold Clark and is a well known sight in the magnificent sailing waters of the Firth of Clyde, Scotland.

This world famous racing yacht is now renowned for company team building days and corporate events. Not only will guests experience the thrill of being on board, they will be encouraged to actively participate in the sailing of Drum under the watchful eye of Drum's experienced skipper and crew. Refreshments and catering can be provided for trips which includes breakfast and lunch on board, then ashore for dinner.

1 DAY TRIP
Cruise down the waters of the Firth of Clyde spotting dolphins and porpoises.
Sail to the Cumbraes and anchor in Millport Bay for lunch, admire the splendour of the sea lochs.
Sail down to Rothesay, dock at Rothesay Pier and go ashore. Motor through the Kyles of Bute to Tighnabruaich.

2 DAY TRIP
Sail to Tarbert, an excellent stop over for a weekend sail.

3 DAY TRIP
More experienced sailors can sail across the North Channel and see Drum stretch her legs over a longer distance. With all trips, the time and distance sailed can be adapted to suit particular preferences but are constantly dependant on the prevailing weather and tidal conditions.

Rhu to Bangor - 95 nautical miles - 10-16 Hours
Bangor to Tarbert - 80 nautical miles - 9-14 Hours
Tarbert to Rhu - 40 nautical miles - 5-7 Hours
