Charity Work - Arnold Clark Drum
Over the years Arnold Clark has kindly donated Drum to various local and national charity organisations, raising what is believed to be well over a million pounds in the process. It is through this generosity that many more people have had the chance of a lifetime to sail one of the most famous yachts in the world.
In 2005, the former crew from the infamous fastnet capsizing in 1985, once again competed in the race on the 20th anniversary to raise money for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, their rescuers after the accident.
Other such ventures has seen Arnold Clark Drum offer free sails for young school children, help kit out local disabled sailors in our top of the range Drum branded clothing and even work with local homeless organisations.
